Privacy Policy — Hirabricks

This policy explains what information the Hirabricks mobile app ("the App") collects from its users — Hirabricks employees, supervisors, and administrators — and how that information is used. The App is an internal attendance and production-tracking tool for Hirabricks brick factory operations and is not intended for use by the general public.

Information We Collect

Account and employment information

Name, employee code, phone number, email address
Branch, department, and role assignment

Attendance and production records

Check-in/check-out times, hours worked, and overtime
Jyami (daily wage), Rolpali (transport), and Pathera (brick production) work records you or your supervisor create
Wage and rate information tied to the above, where your account is permitted to view it

Camera

The App uses your device's camera solely to scan QR codes for attendance/work recording. The App does not capture, store, or upload photos through this permission.

Biometric authentication

If you enable app-lock, your fingerprint or face is verified entirely on your device through your phone's own operating system (Android BiometricPrompt). Hirabricks never receives or stores your biometric data — the App only receives a yes/no confirmation that you passed your device's own biometric check.

Device and security information

A device identifier, used to confirm your device has been approved to access your account
A push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), used to deliver in-app alerts (e.g. approval requests, device-access decisions)

How We Use This Information

To record and calculate attendance, hours, and production for payroll purposes
To let supervisors and administrators view reports for the branches/teams they're responsible for
To secure accounts against unauthorized devices
To send you notifications relevant to your account

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing. Information is only accessible to Hirabricks personnel whose role requires it (e.g. your supervisor, branch head office, or system administrators), and to the infrastructure providers that host our servers, who process it solely on our behalf.

Data Retention

Your information is retained for as long as your employment and account remain active, and afterward for as long as required for payroll, legal, or record-keeping obligations.

Data Security

Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to attendance, wage, and report data is restricted by your account's assigned permissions.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by Hirabricks employees and staff only, and is not directed at or intended for use by children.
